In between exhibitions and performances, the festival also featured recitals from students, with guidance from their teachers.
Drummer Andrew Digiugad, guitarist Leo Budnick and bassist Kasuya Tsutsumi hold up their end on a blazing version of “Stairway to Heaven” by the legendary rock group Led Zeppelin, one of the many highlights of the festival.
The Little Red School of Art & Music, located at 2979 Main Street in Stratford, had its annual “Kids Helping Kids” festival, with proceeds going to the Thomas Merton Center in Bridgeport. At the festival, which was held at the Stratford Theater on Main Street, students sold their artwork, as well as played music for the festival goers.
The school is always open to students and those looking to teach. For more information, call (203) 375-0692.
